By Keith Norman| Jamestown Sun Verified Folks in Jamestown heard details of the Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition in April of 1905. The exposition marked the centennial of the Corps of Discovery and was held in Portland, Oregon, from June through October of that year. The event was sponsored by the Oregon Historical Society with the backing of local investors, businesses and funds from the state of Oregon.
