Officers responded to the area of 2222 Main Street around 7:13 p.m. Monday on a report of a bicyclist struck by a vehicle, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department. Officers located the bicyclist, who was unresponsive in the roadway, and began performing life-saving measures until the EMS arrived at the scene, Boisvert said.

Dispatch for Troop L in Litchfield started receiving multiple 911 calls around 12:34 a.m. on Friday reporting a wrong-way driver traveling south in the northbound lanes of Route 8 in the area of Exit 39, according to the Connecticut State Police. Desk personnel learned that the vehicle was a black Honda CR-V.
