In just her second year at Bishop’s University, Santerre is a standout. Like so many other girls, she started playing on a boys’ team, switching to women’s hockey as a teenager.

Ara Keuyalian, owner of Bijouterie Dauphin Doré in Saint-Eustache, said his store was ransacked by a group of thieves who shattered display cases and grabbed whatever they could. He said he estimates the losses in the thousands but believes the thieves didn’t get away with what they really wanted.
