City officials as of about 11:30 a.m. estimated hot water would be restored by the end of the business day Monday to The Terraces of DeKalb, 1100 W. Lincoln Highway, formerly Lincoln Tower. “Landlords are required by City code to provide residents with hot water,” City officials wrote in a news release.
By Kelsey Rettke Verified| Daily Chronicle Verified SYCAMORE – A Somonauk 19-year-old was sentenced this week to 25 years and three months in prison after pleading guilty to kidnapping in connection to the repeated sexual assault of a minor, court records show. Franklin E. Tooley was enrolled at Somonauk High School when he was arrested March 24, 2023. He initially was detained without release at the River Valley Juvenile Justice Center in Joliet, records show. Tooley pleaded guilty on April 7 to one count of aggravated kidnapping, a Class X felony.
