Ken Paulson is a journalist and the director of the Free Speech Center at Middle Tennessee State University, where he is also a professor and dean emeritus. Expertise: First Amendment, freedom of speech, censorship, news media, journalism ethics. A former editor-in-chief of USA Today, current member of its Board of Contributors writing about First Amendment and the news media. Paulson is also the host of “The Songwriters,” appearing on PBS affiliates nationwide and the former host of the Emmy-recognized "Speaking Freely," national TV program on free speech and the arts.
