Authorities say he died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a weapons disturbance call around 11:15 p.m. A family member told authorities that she and Lacy had gotten into an argument, during which Lacy fired a gun into the ground.

    By Kenny Kuhn| WCNC-TV (Charlotte, NC) Verified BATON ROUGE, La. — Former LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy, who was facing a negligent homicide charge in connection with a deadly crash, died early Sunday morning, according to our partners at WBRZ in Baton Rouge. WBRZ’s Investigative Unit reported that sources said Lacy's death was a suspected suicide. LSU later released a statement on Lacy's death, saying: We’re saddened to learn of the tragic passing of former LSU Football student-athlete Kyren Lacy.
