A ridge of high pressure sliding through our part of the country will eventually move out of the picture later this week as a large upper level low currently impacting California builds strength over the four corners region of the southwest U.S..

    By Kent Boughton| KLKN-TV (Lincoln, NE) Verified Dry windy conditions in western Nebraska tomorrow will create a high fire danger. Above average lows in eastern Nebraska overnight but near normal elsewhere. One more warm day expected for our Saturday. A big cool down expected for Sunday and the first part of next week. With a cool front moving through the region then stalling out over the eastern part of the state the next significant cold front will arrive by Sunday dropping temperatures into the 60’s.
