A ridge of high pressure sliding through our part of the country will eventually move out of the picture later this week as a large upper level low currently impacting California builds strength over the four corners region of the southwest U.S..

Above average lows in eastern Nebraska overnight but near normal elsewhere. One more warm day expected for our Saturday. A big cool down expected for Sunday and the first part of next week. With a cool front moving through the region then stalling out over the eastern part of the state the next significant cold front will arrive by Sunday dropping temperatures into the 60’s.
