Kent looks for the fun and truth in sports whether during his afternoon drive radio show on CBS Sports 1430 in Indianapolis, in what he writes on kentsterling.com, or while muttering to himself in the car. For years, Kent helped others create content, and then decided to do it himself. He didn't get into media to manage - that just kind of happened. Writing and talking was what floated his boat. Performing at Second City in Chicago was fun, but the structure of sportstalk radio is gives Kent a forum that suits his personality, and writing a column each weekday allows him to expand on Indianapolis and national stories that either bring him joy or angst. Kent has lived in the midwest throughout his life, and represents that mindset unique to people there that justice should be applied and respected for those who cross the line. A native of Chicago, Kent has been in Indianapolis for the last 21 years, minus a two year stay in St. Louis. He has a wife, Julie, and a son Ryan. Both mean everything to him.
