When Emma suggested we go take photos in this place, I couldn’t understand how I could have missed this over so many years. Even my Mum knew about it! But on arrival I realised that not everyone is given authorization to take photos there. Of course Emma, via her contacts, was able to obtain a sort of access pass (lucky me!).
By Kenza Sadoun| La Revue de Kenza@ You might not realise it but, the El Badi Palace is in fact the place that’s requisitioned as the stage for the Festival du Marrakech du Rire. Il est difficile de se rendre compte de la beauté de celui-ci à travers un écran ou lorsque des humoristes y interprètent des sketches, mais pour la première fois je me suis dit que j’allais m’y rendre telle une touriste, afin de visiter et faire des photos avec Emma et India. Ce palais est une véritable pépite qui fut construit au seixième siècle.
