  • McDermott: Memo from a voter whose vote won't count in November

By Kevin McDermott Verified| St. Louis Post-Dispatch Verified Like millions of Americans this election season, I’m unenthused about either major-party presidential nominee. I know my preference — I’ll take the grumpy old man over the aspiring autocrat — but I sure don’t like the choices. Here’s another way that I’m like millions of Americans: No matter who wins, my vote in November won’t matter one iota in the selection of the next president. In a real way, it won’t even count. Depending where you live and who you vote for, your vote may not count, either.
