The declaration event was hosted at the Pony Express Museum. Metronet donated $10,000 to Second Harvest Food Bank as a way to showing appreciation for the city of St. Joseph. "Today we were able to announce St. Joseph as a certified 'Gigabit City powered by Metronet," said Kyle Hamilton Executive Vice President of Construction for Metronet.
