  • Petaluma tops Vintage to gain ground in softball title race

By Kienan O'Doherty| The Press Democrat Verified Petaluma softball moved into a tie for second place in the Vine Valley Athletic League with a 3-1 win over Vintage on Wednesday afternoon. But this particularly day in west Petaluma, things were different. “We made some adjustments for this game knowing their pitcher is so good,” Petaluma head coach Cassie Pitkin said.
