At approximately 3:36 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at 205 E 112 St. Upon arrival, police observed Ramon Alvarez with a gunshot wound to the torso, conscious and alert. EMS rushed Alvarez to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem where he was later pronounced dead.

At approximately 2:25 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, a 24-year-old woman was walking in front of 2319 Nostrand Ave. in East Midwood when she was approached by the suspect from behind. The suspect touched the victim’s buttocks and was last seen fleeing northbound on Nostrand Avenue.
