  • Help your body balance, while adapting to and resisting negative effects of stress, with Kindroot Adaptogems

By Kimberly Vetrano| She Scribes Verified If I had to use one word to describe 2020, I think I’d have to go with the word STRESS. Everything about this year has been stressful, from being furloughed from my job for months, to my new work schedule (I am NOT a “morning person”), and from worrying about risking your life just by going to the grocery store (and catching COVID), to the elections. Pretty much everything about this year has been horribly stressful. I am LITERALLY losing sleep over everything. It shouldn’t be that way.

  • Own a cat? Check out the Kitty Poo Club

By Kimberly Vetrano| She Scribes Verified Our cats – Starting top left going clockwise – Padmé, Kitty, Loca, Emma, Callie and Bella. I am the “mom” to six cats. Yes… you read that right – SIX cats. We started out with one cat 20+ years ago. We thought he was lonely, so we got him a friend. When our original cat passed away, we felt the new cat needed a friend, so we adopted another cat. Some how we ended up adopting two more. Years later we fostered a set of kittens. One had to be put to sleep when she was three weeks old.
