I am an accomplished photojournalist and storyteller, passionate about capturing compelling African narratives through my lens. With nearly a decade of experience, I have built a reputation for excellence in documenting a wide range of stories, including wildlife, culture, conservation, education, science, human interest, nature, conflict, politics, and sports. As a journalist with the Standard Group, my work is featured prominently in The Standard Newspaper, Standard Digital, and across all Standard Group online platforms. My radio features and news stories are broadcast on Radio Maisha and Berur FM, where I connect with Kalenjin-speaking audiences. I am also skilled in camera work for KTN News, showcasing my versatility in visual storytelling. My dedication to storytelling has been recognized with multiple accolades. I won the Sports and Action category at the inaugural Nation Photo Awards, sponsored by Tecno and organized by Nation Media Group. In the same competition, I also earned the first runner-up position in the same category, a recognition of my ability to capture raw, action-packed moments of emotion during sports events. In 2023, I was honored as the first runner-up in the Sports Reporting category at the Media Council of Kenya’s Annual Journalism Excellence Awards.
