Higgins Verified| Yahoo Verified CHESTER — A series of brush fires popped up the night of April 16 in a woodline along the railroad tracks behind Commonwealth Building Materials on the block of 14500 on Route 1. Smoke filled the area just after 9:30 p.m.Chesterfield County Fire and EMS started receiving calls at around 7:30 p.m. about fires being spotted in the woods in the area, according to the first responder crew's Facebook post.
