Biography
I am a cannabis professional. I know. Stigma and stereotype prevented those two words from being combined in our society for decades. However, in 2016, after leaving a 20-year career working with mobile technology in corporate America, I landed in the legal cannabis industry in Denver. What I learned altered my perspectives, saved my husband’s life, and changed my world forever. I am a cannabis consumer. I don’t just write about cannabis from a distance, I am immersed in the industry. As a Colorado resident, I am a cannabis patient, a cannabis grower, as well as, a cannabis reporter. I attend conferences (sometimes I even speak at them!). I go behind the scenes at commercial grows, extraction facilities, producers, and labs. I interview the scientists, the entrepreneurs, and the game-changers in the industry. I am a cannabis influencer. While I’ll admit, I don’t have the biggest following, the following I have is loyal. They trust my judgment. I don’t use gimmicks to sell you a product – I simply use the truth. I will not talk about products on my blog or social media channels if I haven’t used them and personally approved them myself. I write for the sophisticated cannabis consumer.

I wondered if I would struggle with the reduced intake. Would I experience any withdrawal symptoms? What would happen on a stressful day? Can I still maintain my health and wellness goals with cannabis if I’m not consuming it all day? I expected the worst.
By Kristina Etter| Cannabis Tech Verified In cannabis—a legacy industry long shrouded in secrecy and lacking traditional business services—insurance can be a neglected necessity. As the industry gears up for potential reclassification and a move toward mainstream acceptance, the need for comprehensive insurance for cannabis has never been more pressing. So, I reached out to Charles Pyfrom, CMO of CannGen Insurance to discuss the intricacies of insuring cannabis businesses.
By Kristina Etter| Medium@ Back in the late ’80s and ’90s, we were the generation that didn’t give a shit about fitting in. We grew up on a steady diet of irony, sarcasm, and a healthy distrust of anything mainstream. We rolled our eyes at corporate greed, laughed in the face of authority, and scoffed at the very idea of selling out.
