She earned a degree in Journalism in 2012, and during that time was the managing editor of The Youngtown Edition, an award-winning college newspaper. She began covering the Nashville Predators for the Hockey Writers in March of 2021, and received credentials to cover the New Jersey Devils during the 2021-22 campaign.
