The group is asking for cans and other non-perishable goods, which will be distributed to three area food pantries. This is the 20th year of the fundraiser and awareness event for suicide prevention efforts. The walk begins at 11 a.m. on May 3 at Eldridge Park. In-person registration begins the day of the walk at 9 a.m. Registration is also open online. Participants will receive a lunch ticket and a t-shirt if they give a $15 donation at the time of registration.
