Biography

I am an award-winning writer with more than 20 years experience in the journalism industry. I have written for magazines, newspapers, websites and books, tackling a variety of subjects. From breaking news to celebrity features, articles on canine health to vegetarian recipes, I've written it all. My specialty ranges from literary journalism to in-depth profiles to first-person columns. In addition to editing textbooks, I wrote a non-fiction book about canine training and naming practices, "Move Over Rover" (Random House, 2009). I am also an award-winning photographer and a longtime journalism professor at the collegiate level.
