  • A popular DFW morning anchor changed stations this year. Her new show has been axed

    By Robert Philpot, Laila Muhammad Verified, Shane Allen, Courtenay DeHoff| Fort Worth Star-Telegram Verified Tribune Broadcasting, which owns the CW network, has canceled its morning show “Morning Dose” and its evening newscast “NewsFix,” according to a report in the Houston Chronicle. The last broadcasts will be Sept. 14, according to the Chronicle story, which says that in Houston, the chatty “Morning Dose” block will become a three-hour local newscast. It’s unclear at this point what it will be in DFW, or whether there’ll be new roles here for the “Morning Dose” cast.
