Solomon Street before the Apr. 8 meeting of the City of Griffin Board of Commissioners. Arrival of the truck was delayed for almost a year due to supply issues. The new pumper/engine will replace Engine 1, which the city purchased in 2008 or 2009. The new truck will go into service at Station One on the north side of Griffin, with the old truck going into reserve.
