By Lars Hoffmann, Marika Konings| ICANN@ As we prepare to gather next month in Seattle, for the first ICANN Public Meeting of 2025, we would like to provide an update on the status of the New Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLD) Program: Next Round. Two critical programs launched late last year – the Applicant Support Program (ASP) and the Registry Service Provider (RSP) Evaluation Program. As of 19 February, ICANN has received 31 applications for the ASP from regions around the globe.
