Susan Webster, 60, who is originally from Arizona, was diagnosed with lung cancer at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in July 2024. However, the retired nurse and her husband Keith claimed that they were told nothing could be done due to the risk of possibly puncturing her lung while taking a biopsy, the Daily Record reports.

The fire ripped through two large farm buildings at Philorth Farm, near Fraserburgh, yesterday (Monday, April 14), with the alarm raised at around 4.20pm. Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) crews rushed to the scene with six appliances in attendance at the height of the blaze as firefighters worked overnight to extinguish it. No one is thought to have been injured in the incident.
