Lauren J Richardson, originally from the suburbs of Chicago, IL, crash landed in the Bay Area late 2009. Since her arrival and absorption into the bustling culture of the city, she has created an online network of original programming, BypassTV. Richardson creates original news, commentary, and artistic styled programs to communicate ideas and information. She writes for the Oakland Post, which is a historically black newspaper based in Oakland, CA and has recently been hired as a viral news writer for Blavity.com. She is also a part-time stringer and collects video footage for local news stations.
