It's always hard to know for sure if winter is over because it wouldn't be out of the question to get a late April or early May snowstorm. However, it looks like the tides may be changing.

I reached out to WDIO Meteorologist Lea Zmurko last week to see if spring was on its way and winter was on its way out. She said that warmer temperatures will usher in spring this week. Things are still on track at the time of writing, despite some light wintry mix midweek, with projected temperatures reaching the upper 50s by Friday.
