Restricted travel along the iconic freeway has decreased revenue for businesses in Malibu and Pacific Palisades, leading to many residents and local businesses pleading for officials to reopen the roadway. Newsom said only one lane in each direction of the coastal highway will be open by the end of May.

Christopher Dietrick and Alyssa Kluge are the owners of Dublin, the 11-year-old toy poodle that was killed. They’ve put up signs all over the city hopeful that someone will be able to point them in the right direction.
