The City of Calgary says waste collection routes will be adjusted starting Tuesday, April 22. This is in response to the growth in the number of bins that need to be collected as the city grows and to reintroduce weekly green cart collection for the spring and summer months.

Calgary police say it happened shortly after 9 a.m. at the intersection of 34 Avenue NE and Centre A Street NE. According to investigators, the cyclist was left with serious, but non-life threatening injuries as a result of the incident. They were taken to hospital for treatment. Investigators say the driver stayed at the scene of the incident.
