During a press conference officials said the gyrocopter crash happened around 1:30 p.m. today. The pilot, whose name has not been released, is reportedly 67 years old and routinely flew in and out of the airport. Officials and witnesses said that before the crash the pilot had been flying around and had come in and refueled before flying low above the runway.
