Biography

I have 12 years of published writing experience. My journey began as a 12-year old in 2009. My first role was with Bleacher Report, where I was a college football contributor. The then start-up that would eventually be acquired by Time Warner Cable for $175 million. An old letter from my first editor describes the story best, when my mother e-mailed the editor to inform him that I wouldn't have time to continue the role due to classes, sports, and extracurricular activities in middle school. "Excuse me? 8th grade? I'm a 24-year journalist who has written or edited for six publications, including the USA Today and Sporting News. You tell this young man to put my email in his rolodex and to keep pursuing this craft." Since then, I've done just that. I've written for over ten publications (Daniel Island News, Cola Daily, South Carolina Public Radio, Fits News, Florida Keys Free Press, Clay Today, and Rivals, just to name a few) while having some fun along the way.
