Born and raised in the east central town of Winchester, Indiana, I literally lived on the same block my entire life. So packing up and moving across the country was a huge decision. Deciding if you should move so far from home, you stop and think really and I mean think really hard about it. I realized my kids are grown and don’t need their momma as much as they once did.
By Leesa Friend-Teale| The News-Gazette (Winchester, IN) Verified This Saturday the Goodrich Park, located at the northwest side of Winchester, will turn into a family fun Halloween Haunt. The City of Winchester has created a new free event this year that will hopefully attract crowds, both young and old. The public is invited to visit the many activities that are slated to occur during the hours of 6-9 pm throughout the north end of the park. The big attraction is a river creature that is said to live and pass through the dark end of the park area.
