She was named 2018 Member of Year by the Asian American Journalists Association after co-chairing AAJA-NY’s Trivia Bowl, a fundraiser that brings in $26,000 annually for scholarships. She is a 2019 Filipino Young Leaders Program (FYLPRO) delegate and is FYLPRO’s 2022-2023 President. She is the chair of the FYLPRO COVID19 Taskforce.
