(KPLC) - A Lake Charles woman wanted on manslaughter charges in the death of her toddler has been arrested in Mississippi. Summer Buxton was arrested around 2:45 p.m. at a motel in Jackson, Miss., Deputy Chief Franklin Fondel, with the Lake Charles Police Department, confirmed. Buxton was arrested by the human trafficking division of the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office. Fondel said she was caught after law enforcement received information she was likely in the area.
