Lilia Saúl Rodríguez is a journalist with 20 years of experience, based in Mexico City. Data journalist with emphasis on transparency and access to information. He founded the first data team in a Mexican newspaper (El Universal). She won the Ortega y Gasset Prize in 2016 for the Disappeared project. Semifinalist of the 2016 Data Journalism Awards for the Trusts project and received an Honorable Mention in the 2016 SIP awards for Disappeared. Winner of the National Journalism Award in 2011 for the research "The Team". He worked in Emeequis magazine, in Animal Político, W Radio, among others. She was Multimedia Editor for three years at Connectas (investigative journalism platform) and was part of the board of Chicas Poderosas, an organization to promote women in journalism. She was a fellow of the International Center for Journalist (ICFJ) where she was hosted by ProPublica in the United States. She is currently a research reporter at the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP). He has taught workshops to journalists in Mexico and some countries in Latin America. He participated in the first Ibero-American Manual of Data Journalism.
