If you’re not part of the conversation at work, you’re not on the path to success - The Boston Globe
By Linda Chavers| The Boston Globe Verified In 2004, I was a recent college graduate working at The New York Times Magazine as an editorial assistant. At 22 years old, I was wide-eyed at the amazing opportunity. So wide-eyed it took me a while to notice the imperfections of such a hallowed space. Mainly, I was struck by some of the complaints of my more senior female colleagues, including those in leadership.
By Linda Chavers| NewsBreak@ “This motherfucker right here,” I muttered to myself earlier this summer, when I had some spotting the week after what I thought had been the end of my period. Those of us who menstruate know that feeling. I’m starting here, but I could just as easily start 17 years ago when I was first diagnosed with multiple sclerosis following a year of futile appointments repeating what I already knew — this requires further examination, this requires more testing, have you considered more psychotherapy?
