Linda K. Wertheimer (not the Linda of NPR) is a veteran newspaper journalist and author of the Beacon Press book, Faith Ed, Teaching about Religion in an Age of Intolerance. A former Boston Globe education editor, she also worked full-time as an education reporter for several major metros, including The Dallas Morning News. Now, she freelances commentary, long-form journalism, and other articles on race, religion and education. She has been published widely, including in The New York Times; Boston Globe Magazine; The Atlantic online; The Washington Post; and other publications.
