Lindsey M. Roberts is a freelance newspaper and magazine journalist. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, National Geographic, Eating Well, Parents magazine, Preservation, Architect, Residential Architect, Apartment Therapy, the Smith Alumnae Quarterly, Seattle Homes & Lifestyles, and Seattle magazine, among others. For the Post, she writes the monthly shopping column and is a frequent contributor to the On Parenting section. Her stories for both sections get picked up by newspapers around the country. In 2011, she helped launch Gray magazine, about design in the Pacific Northwest. Lindsey grew up in Seattle, attended Smith College in Massachusetts, and spent the lion's share of her twenties in Washington, D.C. Today, she lives outside of Raleigh, N.C., with her husband and three sweet kids.
