Georgia Southern’s Greek Life finished up Philanthropy week with a whopping 100 grand to send to the research center in Utah. This year’s funding is going to breast cancer research. The fraternity says they held a dance party, a car wash, and restaurant fundraisers. At the end of it all, they became one of the fraternity’s top-performing chapters.

(WTOC) - Blake Beckworth and Taylor Smith, spent their Saturday night stranded on the 294-mile-long, Ogeechee River after their boat failed to return to River Retreat Boat ramp. The teens were out with a group of friends when their boat got separated from the others. Beckworth and Smith, lagging behind the group, accidentally took a wrong turn, heading in the opposite direction from where they had planned.
