Biography
Lisa Marie David is a Filipina freelance photojournalist and documentary photographer with an interest in documenting issues concerning women, children, culture, and the environment. She is a regular contributor to Reuters and Bloomberg and had her work published on CNN, WSJ, Libération, NRC, among others. In 2021, she completed her post-graduate Diploma in Visual Journalism at the Asian Center for Journalism in Ateneo de Manila University with the support of the Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung Media Programme Asia. She holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Santo Tomas and is an alumna of the 19th Angkor Photo Festival Workshop in Siem Reap, Cambodia. At present, she is working simultaneously between assignments and documentary work. She is a member of Women Photograph, Diversify Photo, and Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines (FOCAP). She is available for news, editorial, and NGO assignments globally.
