Biography

I’m currently a General assignment reporter for Sun Coast Media Group. I cover a myriad of topics, such as the adoption and foster care system, development, environmental conservation, natural disaster preparedness, elections, legislation and even a pizza eating contest. I grew up in Houston, Texas, I went to a small liberal arts school in Ohio (go Bishops), and I currently live in Florida. During my first semester of senior year, I lived in NYC interning for a news corporation, Straus News, and an independent film company: John Sayles‘ very own Anarchists’ Convention. Some days I wrote news articles, and others I helped with public relations and organizing schedules. Throughout college, I wrote for and was the Arts & Entertainment Editor for my school's newspaper, The Transcript. I also have a history of serving French food, southern food and lattes at Starbucks. In my free time, I enjoy reading David Sedaris and baking cookies.
