Biography

Liz Petoniak is a digital creator, editor, and writer based in Delray Beach, Florida. Her passion for sharing all of the best things that the Palm Beaches has to offer led her to co-found What Goes On Palm Beach, a curated online resource for the region’s rising millennial population. You can find WGO on Instagram and TikTok at @wgo_pb. Previously, she worked for Palm Beach Media Group, a South Florida publishing leader owned by Hour Media. Liz held the titles of Senior Editor at Palm Beach Illustrated, the premier ultra-luxury lifestyle magazine covering Vero Beach to Boca Raton established in 1952, and Dining Editor at sister magazines Naples Illustrated, Jupiter Magazine, and Stuart Magazine. The Palm Beaches’ food and beverage scene was her primary focus. At PBMG, she was also the sole editor of three annual publications: Palm Beach Charity Register, a compendium of the Palm Beaches high-profile charity events; South Florida Baby & Beyond, a local guide for parents and families, The Palm Beach 100, a business journal that profiles Palm Beach County’s most prominent industry leaders. Prior to relocating to Florida, Liz worked at WHIRL Publishing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she served as Style Editor at WHIRL Magazine, another regional luxury lifestyle magazine, and Senior Editor at Edible Allegheny, a regional food magazine. While working at WHIRL, she led the company’s fashion editorial and garnered a nomination for a Golden Quill Award for her profile writing.
