She's also worked as a contributing editor and features writer at The Breeze Magazine, and editor at The Bowen Island Undercurrent where she wrote up-to--the-minute articles, features, feature profiles, acted as the paper's photo journalist, did the research and the layouts, on time, every week. Loik writes corporate materials, ghost writes and is currently writing a series about rural-living leading-edge thinkers called Edge Dwellers, for The National Observer. Louise's passion is to write about the innovators who are having a positive impact on local and global communities. She also likes writing about the natural world and global destinations and cultures in a way that entertains, educates and helps spread good ideas.
