Lovejoy Sebastain Mutongwiza is a 10-time award-winning photojournalist/ videographer/social media management consultant/proofreader/ story writer and content creator. He is the founder of The Lensecape Media, which focuses on creating multimedia content. He is the CEO of 263Chat, Zimbabwe's biggest online media house. Lovejoy has contributed to international papers like Daily Sweden, the London School of Economics, The Human Rights Report, and Raoul Wallenberg Institute and has featured his work on MTV's Carte Blanche and DW Africa, CNN, Human Rights Watch, among others. He is an avid photojournalist whose work is centred on social justice, human rights, youth and child rights, climate change, sexual reproductive health and gender equality. He has worked with and produced work for several organisations and institutions in Zimbabwe, among them, UN Women Zimbabwe, WCoZ, HIVOS Southern Africa, Air Zimbabwe, UNFPA Zimbabwe, UNDP Zimbabwe, WFP Zimbabwe, WWH Zimbabwe, UNICEF Zimbabwe, The Rozaria Memorial Trust, National Building Society, Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe, Rural Young Women Support Network, Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO,) among others. The highlight of his career was in 2019 when he won the Photojournalist of the Year award for his resilient work in exposing human rights abuses. He has followed this up by winning other awards, namely: • Outstanding Young in Media Award 2020 from the Ministry of Youth in Zimbabwe • Runner-up on Election and Governance reporting from Action Aid Zim • Best Reporter on Palestine Issues from the Embassy of Palestine in Zimbabwe • 30 Under 30 Outstanding Youths In Zimbabwe from Gumiguru Inc .
