Luke is a journalist, organizer and life-long Spokanite who has spent his career telling stories, building community and working to make the region more just and livable for all of our neighbors. Seeking a more equitable model of business and a more just life for workers, he founded RANGE, a worker-owned local newsroom, in 2020. In 2021, he co-founded the Spokane Workers Cooperative, a holding company designed to scale cooperative ownership as efficiently as possible. Prior to that, Luke co-founded the arts nonprofit Terrain (2008) and was a founding board member of Feast World Kitchen (2019). He founded Fellow Coworking in 2013 and helped launch Treatment Creative in 2015.
