Biography
Luke graduated from Houghton University in 2024 with a B.A. in Writing, minoring in political science. His liberal arts education has included courses on history, media, religion, journalism, politics, literature, music, anthropology, and international culture. In school, Luke was a contributing writer for his university newspaper, The Houghton STAR. In January 2019, he had his first professional article published in a local paper, The Cuba Patriot & Free Press. He is currently a freelance journalist following the growth of far-right extremism in the U.S. He aspires to one day become an investigative reporter.

Moore County, NC experienced a blackout in early December 2022 that affected more than 45,000 residents after two local substations were sabotaged in a way resembling white supremacist plots against vulnerable infrastructure.

In order to fully understand the normalization of white supremacy, a distinction needs to be made between the terms “supremacy” and “nationalism”. White supremacy is a general belief that the white race is superior to all others. White nationalism is akin to white supremacy, but includes a sense of identity through belonging somewhere.
