The phrase suggests that to take one’s mind of things, clear one’s head, or take a break is something we CAN do amidst the deluges beyond our control.

Good news from the LJS staff who have weathered the cyberstorm and are now able again to bring you the food pages every week. “We’re back!” was the chorus hard-working LES crews made possible after the mud-zzard knocked down lines, poles and trees. And the magnolia buds that survived echo the same hopeful refrain. So we’re celebrating these many happy returns with a spritely and slightly surprising salad.
