    By Mackenzie Dahlberg Verified, Alex Dodd| Rapid City Journal Verified CHADRON, Neb. — Two second-quarter interceptions pushed Chadron State in front, and South Dakota Mines never recovered on Saturday at Don Beebe Stadium. The Eagles took their first lead on a pick-six and went up 21-3 in the second when another interception gave them a short field. The Hardrockers fought back from their early deficit but fell short, as Chadron State secured a 27-19 victory and reclaimed the Eagle Rock Trophy. “We continue to kill ourselves,” Mines head coach Charlie Flohr said.
