The Eagles took their first lead on a pick-six and went up 21-3 in the second when another interception gave them a short field. The Hardrockers fought back from their early deficit but fell short, as Chadron State secured a 27-19 victory and reclaimed the Eagle Rock Trophy. “We continue to kill ourselves,” Mines head coach Charlie Flohr said.
