Biography

Maddie Solomon is a sophomore at Occidental College from Denver, CO majoring in Politics with a minor in Education. A graduate from Denver School of the Arts high school, she has career interests in law, academia, journalism and writing, and non-profit work. She is a 2019 TFAS scholar and a 2018 Bank of American Student Leader, and is passionate about political theory, civil rights, feminism, and social justice. She has interned at CentroNia and City Year. At college, she tutors and mentors low-income, first generation youth, leads conversations about religious pluralism, and serves on a sexual assault coalition, among other leadership roles on campus. Her work has been published in The Denver Post, The Jewish Journal, Women's Media Center, The Algemeiner, and other publications. She is currently looking for Pre-Law, Editorial, and/or political theory and government fellowships and internships for Summer 2020.
