Dean-Stoots, who narrowly received the title of VP of student affairs, said she was very excited to win this position. “I’ve worked really hard for this and I really wanted it,” Dean-Stoots said. “I want to make this campus for extroverts and introverts.”Dean-Stoots’ competitor, Kylie Swinford, was not present.
By Madeline Ricard| The Chanticleer Verified A run off election for the Student Government Association vice president of organizational affairs and student affairs will take place Thursday from 12:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on CampusGroups. According to the election results posted Tuesday, the run off will be between candidates Trey Landman and Keon-Dre Swift for VPOA and Bethany Dean-Stoots and Kylie Swinford for VPSA. Out of the 1776 votes, 1099 were cast for VPOA. Landman received 504 votes with Swift receiving 348.
