Biography
With a solid background in three of my core interests - Journalism, English, and Psychology - I've had the privilege to work in all three fields in my professional journey so far. I started off by working in broadcast and then in print media for 6 years where I really got to enjoy the thrill of writing features covering personal technology and a bit of lifestyle. I took a break from journalism, and spend 5 years at The British Council - teaching and training adults in ELT and business communication. I also used the time to do a 1-year intensive program in integrated psychological counseling skills. The hands-on experience throughout the course in different modalities of counseling gave me the training and confidence to see clients professionally thereafter. And, now, life has come full circle and I'm back to writing about Personal Tech again, and loving it! In my downtime, I love reading, discovering new music, whipping up something comforting in the kitchen, and travelling.
